Days Without Him Poem

His touch became a need.
His lips became a feel.
His body became hard.
His love became real.
He's the sun in my sky.
The love of my life.
A day without him.
A day I say goodbye.
Goodbye to my thoughts.
Goodbye to my heart.
Just knowing the next day.......
Will be a better start.
Days of hardships.
A day without him....
My peace of mind rips.
A day without him....
My happiness has been clipped.
A day without him....
My mood has flipped.
But somewhere inside.
These tears behind.
I know that again.

Three Days Later.

Nicki sat down in the chair looking at her best friend sleep. She thought back over this whole week, and wished she could take some of this back from happening. She wished that she could go back months ago and change what had happened. Nicki then thought of how everthing would play out in the future and hope that it turned out good. She had been praying constantly, asking God for help. She put all her faith in him, and knew he would be on time. She hadnt spoke to Safaree these past three days because she already missed him and hearing his voice would make it worse. She closed her eyes, and listened to the beeping of the monitor. About 15 minutes later Nicki's phone began to vibrate which scared her, because it was between her legs and it sent a vibration somewhere it shouldnt. Nicki answered the phone.
"Hello."
"Ms. Maraj, This is Jake. I know I didnt get to tell you the night of the kidnapping but I seriously apologize for my actions. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I will be retiring my driving papers, and you will get a new driver as of Monday. Again I apologize for everything. I shouldnt have did that to you but I had a debt to pay. I bit off more than I could chew. I send my prayers on behalf of me & my family for your friend. I hope she gets better." Before Nicki coul reply to Jake he hung up the phone. She sat there in shock as her phone vibrated again, and she looked down at it. It was a international number and she didnt know anybody international. Nicki hit the ignore button. She then recieved a phone call from Gudda.
"What's up Twin?" Nicki said perky as she answered the phone.
"Its Wayne Sis. He has lost his right mind. Him & Key arent together anymore. She broke up with him today at the hospital."
"WHAT!?!"
"Yeah, and...... Hold on...." Gudda talked to someone in the background. "Wayne said to tell you Serenity was born on your birthday."
"Awww, they had a little girl!!! And she is fetch because she was born on the best day of the year. I have to go see her."
"Room 536 on Floor 7." Wayne yelled toward the phone. He was taking back shots like water. Nicki decided that she would go see what happened between Wayne & Keyera and get to the bottom of it. She got her little jean jacket and kissed Tyesha on the cheek.
"I'll be back bestie." She walked out of the room door, and over to the labor and delivery unit.
"Time to knock some sense into her. And then into his short ass."
