Once The Happiness (Part Two- Finale)

Two Months Later
The sun was aluminating the ocean, giving it a orange tint. The crashing of the waves against the shore. The sounds of the birds flying above. The pinkish color of the sky was beautiful.
Nicki sat on the cool sand of the beach. She was thinking of all the events that had happened this past year and a half; While she looked at pictures that she had. She was putting them in a scrapbook. This year held some memories that she never wants to forget.
Nicki thought back to the morning she woke up, thinking about love. Wanting it, needing it, yearning for it. She thought of how she stood outside of Safaree's bedroom door listening to him tell Rex he was in love with somebody. Not even knowing that somebody was here. She thought of her first encounter with his "friend" that morning. Nicki looked at a picture she took with Keyera at the Red Lobster, when they first met. She remember how jealous she felt when she saw Naomi all on Safaree. She especially remembered the night he came back from his date with Naomi, and the love making that occured between her & Safaree. She looked at the four pictures of Safaree and her at the amusment park. The face painting they had done and the food they ate. The games they played, and the fun they had.
Nicki looked at the pictures she had printed off her blackberry. She had one of her and SB in the kitchen. Nicki was sitting on the edge of the counter and he was in between her legs standing up. She cut it and pasted it on the page.
Nicki reached over and pulled out recent photos. She looked at one of Safaree sleeping wildly on the bed. Nicki saw how perfect their life was. How great they was going until that Saturday she saw Ziare. Everything went sour after that, then got better. She looked at pictures of her birthday and engagement party. The smiles on everyone's faces. She pulled out all the couple pictures.
The first one was of Rex & Candi in their teal and black. Nicki had found out about their fight, the day Tyesha was leaving the hospital. Rex and Candi are back together having their arguements, loving life, and each other. They arent expecting any children no time soon. Nicki pasted their photo and wrote "Fighters & Lovers".
Nicki reached over and pulled up Lauren & Vincent's picture. They was looking cute in their purple and black. Nicki had found out about their fight as well. Lauren and Vince arent together anymore but will be expecting their baby boy by June 3rd. Nicki put their picture down, and wrote "Love to be Found Again."
The next photo was of Tyesha and Michael. They looked adorable in their green and black.When the shooting happened Michael went missing for a while but came back. Tyesha and Michael are doing well, and back in New York. Little MJ is doing good too. Nicki put their picture down on the page and wrote "Amazing Family".
Nicki opened the other packet of pictures and pulled out Keyera's and Wayne's photo. They was looking hot in their red and black looking so happy. She looked at them. After little Serenity was born, Wayne & Keyera had broke up. They went through a rough patch. About two weeks after Keyera left the hospital she went back to Chicago to be with her family. Wayne felt bad and knew he was going to fight for his family. He went to Chicago. He called her, sent her gifts, flowers, and even sat outside her mother's house. Now today they are engaged and living down in Miami with Serenity. Nicki glued their picture and wrote
"Young Love".
The last picture she pulled out was of Safaree & her. Nicki stared at the picture. They was matching in their pink & black. Nicki looked at both of their faces. She saw the happiness that they had. Safaree looked so happy. Love was showing on their faces. Nicki picked up the other photos of them. Some were all the way back when they had first me up to her birthay party. He was always there for her. He always saved her. He was somebody who she could count on. Somebody who was strong for himself and her at the same time. Safaree had chosen to stay in New York. He couldnt be with her at this point with the pictures of that kiss in his mind. Around January Nicki decided that she needed a break. She went back to Trinidad to relax. She didnt tell her family because she wanted privacy. The only person who knew where she was, was Jelani. On the last page of the scrapbook Nicki pasted the picture of Safaree and her. Then she tried to think of a caption. When she couldnt she wrote a poem.......
Cold winter nights
Tears of a heart wrenching pain
Hot summer fights
Cleasing of the spring rain
Time that passes by slow
No one here to hold

Nicki shed a few tears as she wrote and read the finished product, and then cried some more. Nicki closed up the scrapbook, and stood up slowly. She looked out over the ocean one more time as she ran her hand over her stomach. Even though Nicki knew she wouldnt have Safaree right now. She would always have a piece of him........ Forever.

*Shed Tears* It's Over. I can't believe it. Like, Come To My Rescue is really done. This was amazing. I really enjoyed writing for you guys. You dont know how much I enjoyed it. This isnt the end of my writing but it is the end for now.
