A Tearful Note.....

*** This chapter picks up exactly where the last chapter left off. Its really short. I warned you.***

As she opened it........ Nicki saw a built light skinned man standing in front of her. She had to admit that he wasnt bad looking, and had a good grade of hair. He looked like he was mixed or something. He stared back at Nicki with his grey eyes, and flashed a smile.
"Are you Nicki?"
"Yes, I am. May I help you?" Nicki asked.
"I have this package for you. Just sign here." Nicki didnt think that delivery men came to hospital and was a little unsure if she should take the package.
"Nika.... Who....Who..... is...... that?" Nicki turned around to Tyesha.
"Nobody." Nicki turned back around to the guy.
"Do I have to sign for this?"
"Yes you do. Here." He said pulling his slip for her out.
"Right here..... & Right here." The guy said pointing to the dotted lines. Nicki put Tyesha's signature to be safe.
"Thank You." He said handing Nicki the little package, and walking away.
"No Thank You." Nicki turned around and went in back in the room. She walked into the personal bathroom. She didnt know what was going to be in this package but she did see Ziare's name on the return address. Nicki looked around for something to cut the tape but didnt see anything. She looked around and then saw a piece of glass.
"That can do the trick." She picked it up, and sliced the tape open. Nicki slowly put the glass down and pulled the side of the box open. She slowly reached her hand on the inside and pulled out a little red box, and a card. Nicki opened it and sat there and read it......

2:00pm.

Ziare sat in one of his six bedrooms in his house. He pulled out a notebook and decided to write a letter to her. He wanted to get all of his feelings out that he had bundled up for the past years.

Dear Onika,
If you are reading this letter then I am long gone by now. Not meaning dead but gone out of the U.S. I just wanted to let you know how I really have felt these past years.
I love you Nika. I havent loved right since you left me. I know that I cause you alot of pain and heartache. You never told me but I know I did. I'm sorry for all of the drama that I brought into your life. I thought I still had a chance to be with you. I mean you was always there to take me back before so I thought that it would still be that way now. But truth is, You grew up. You matured, and became a woman and what a perfect one might I say. I'm sorry about the fiasco at your birthday party. It was me. Dont blame Chrissy, she did it for me. She wanted Safaree back, and I wanted you back so we came up with a plan. I never meant for Tyesha to get shot in this plan. I know how much she means to you and I would never try to kill her on purpose.
Another thing that I wanted to apologize about was with our baby. I told you to get a abortion but I really didnt want you to. I wouldve loved to see our child, been with you and all but because of my stupid choices and decisions I cant have that. I wish you and Safaree the best of luck. I know you are happy with him and I know he is happy with you. I'm going to fix this Onika. I'm going to call him, and talk to him. I know now that I have to move on, and I hope that one day I can find a beautiful, respectful, and amazing woman like you. This my final goodbye. No takebacks. I Love You.

Nicki looked at the note and started to cry. She finally felt like she was done with him and she would forever love him but not like that. Nicki picked up the red box and opened it. It was a gold ring, with "O&Z Forever Friends" engraved in the band of it. Nicki smiled and put it on her dogtag necklace. She would keep it forever, and ever.
