Nicki came down the steps in some red boy shorts & a black tank.
"Babe, Im Back" Nicki said walking through the foyer into the living room.
"Safaree...... Where are you?" She screamed walking into the kitchen. On the table she saw a slice of Red Velvet cake that looked good by the way,chocolates , a card, & some roses. "My Babe loves to give me flowers" Nicki said thinking the was from SB. She picked up the card & read it.
"OMG, Safaree" Nicki said running around the house screaming his name, until she looked at the key holder & saw his keys gone.
"Damn It." She said sitting down at the table.

"We gotta go get something to eat" Candi said.
"You is always hungry or sleepy. Your like a bear".Lauren said. Nicki chuckled paying for the clothes. They each got the bags & walked out the store.
"We can go get something to eat for this greedy chick" Nicki said putting the bags in her Range.
"Im not greedy, Yall just wanna be b....."
"Onika?" A guy said walking up to them cutting Candi off. Nicki turned around from her trunk and was shocked to see him. She started to get angry & turn red.
"Hey Lauren, Candi"
"Hey Ziare" Lauren said. "Hello Candi"
"Dont say nothing to me you bastard"
"Candi!!" Lauren screamed. "Look Nic, Ima take her over here to the place to get her something t...."
"Im not leaving her here with him! Sorry piece of shit"
"Candi, just go, Im good" Nicki said holding eye contact with Ziare. Candi walked up to Nicki breaking from Lauren's grip.
"Don't forget what you got at home, Don't let him ruin it" She said in Nic's ear. Then she turned around & gave Ziare a death stare, & walked away, Lauren followed.
"She never liked me"
"I wonder why?" Nicki said.
"Onika look, I know I hurt you, I know I was wrong, but baby give me another chance......"
"Another chance. Z' how many chances I give you, you cheated on me 5 times & got another girl pregnant...."
"Nic...."
"Dont cut me off, Only reason you arent a FATHER,is because Chrissy got a abortion.... Do you not realize how much pain you and her put me & Safaree through?"
"I get that but...."
"There are no BUTS" Nicki said walking away. Ziare ran behind her.
"Nic..... Nicki.... ONIKA WAIT!" Nicki stopped walking and turned around.
"Just..... Just go to dinner with me on Saturday night to let me get a peace of mind".
"Fine Ziare, I'll go.... But after that we are done".
"Okay Nicki" He reached for a hug. Nicki hugged him. Her mind flashed back to them standing on Jamaica Ave. hugging. Ziare loved the feeling of having her in his arms again, it felt so good.
[ ( What Nicki didnt realize was that Rex & Vincent drove right passed her hugged up with Ziare. They was put into shock but they couldnt tell Safaree what they had witnessed. "It would kill him, Rex" Vincent said looking away.)]

Nicki was snapped out of her flash back by they key turning in the key-hole. She got up and stood. Safaree came through the door & walked right pass her at the table.
"Look, I know what your thinking, but..."
"No buts, You go out with you 'friends' and tonight you get flowers & chocolate from your ex, and in the card it says all of this BULLSHIT" SB said tears rolling down his face. Nicki started crying too.
"Stop the tears Onika, you're NOT the one hurting."
"Safaree....." Nicki said reaching to touch him.
"Dont touch me... You know something I went driving to clear my head, to think what did I do wrong for you to even talk to him, but you know what Nicki.... I still love you. I love you EVEN when it hurts." Safaree said walking up the stairs to his room, leaving Nicki in her thoughts...........
